The synchronous events ensure effective cross-pollination of ideas owing to the mutual synergies. With Zak Trade Expo’s phenomenal performance, the year 2014 will end on a happy note for the Indian glass, fenestration and aluminium industry. The event had 335 exhibitors from 18 different countries. The footfall of audience was a remarkable 18,804. SJ Singh, Chairman, GSC Glass aptly remarked, “We see qualified niche audience from all over the country.”

The Zak Expo is exceptional, since it offers an organized avenue for all the industry stakeholders to come together for networking, business expansion, innovations, and idea exchanges. It also provides a niche platform to learn and gain knowledge about the fenestration industry for the naïve audience, and for the advanced audience it provides sophisticated- technical information on the products and services that the exhibitors have to offer. The Zak Trade Expo is the official industry show that is awaited equally by both the exhibitors and the audience, as it is one of its kinds, and remains unparalleled till date. Distinguished architects, developers and company heads of various exhibitor companies from across the industry attended the grand inauguration ceremonies held separately for Zak Doors and Windows Expo and Aluminium Extrusions Expo and for the Zak Glass Technology Expo.

The 11th Zak Doors & Windows Expo and the 6th Zak Aluminium Extrusions Expo was held in the Hall number 18 of Pragati Maidan. The entrance of the Hall was decorated with an inflated Green arch done in the French style with an underlying theme of “Celebrating Fenestration” printed on it. The dignitaries were handed a balloon each, which they had to sign before releasing it in the air, marking the theme of the exhibition — liberation of new ideas! The joie-de-vivre exuded from the participants lit up the whole atmosphere. And, thus began the 11th Zak Doors & Windows Expo and the 6th Zak Aluminium Extrusions Expo. The chief dignitaries took an elaborative round of the exhibition, after receiving a warm welcome by the Wuerth mascot at the entrance. In the endeavor to enhance audience experience and to impart knowledge, Zak Trade Expo planned two fun-and-learn events – Kanch ki Pathshala and Windows ki Pathshala on the second and third day of the Expo. While Kanch ki Pathshala was an initiative held in close collaboration with FOSG, the Window ki Pathshala resulted from the cumulative efforts of participating companies – Deceuninck, FOM Aluminium Machinery, Fenstek, Wuerth Group India and Art & Glass led by the dynamic Mr. Sandeep Chowdhry from Alkarma.
