TFT : So … How is the transformation from being an Exhibition Manager to an Exhibition Organiser ?
It feels great. Especially when the debut itself is successful. Though, we had put in all it requires to organize a successful event. I never expected the show would debut with so much enthusiasm and will ever meet the expectations of stakeholders?

TFT : Tell a little more on the ingredients?
The CWST-Expo2015 was exceptional, since it offered an organized avenue for all the industry stakeholders to come together for networking, business expansion and idea exchanges. It also provided a niche platform to learn and gain knowledge about the industry for the naïve audience, and for the advanced audience it provided sophisticated- technical information on the products and services that the exhibitors had to offer. The expo is one of its kinds and remains unparalleled. The exhibition served as a platform and an important gateway to the companies to access the Indian market.

TFT : What about the sqm sold and area visitors’ turnout ?
The first edition of CWST served with 50+ exhibitors in a 2000 sqm area with remarkable 1900+ quality visitors’ footfalls from across the globe.
The event constituted of 3 days of exhibition and 1 day of conference, the synchronous events ensured effective cross-pollination of ideas owing to the mutual synergies.

TFT : What was the trust profile of exhibits at CWST 2015?
CWST-Expo was aimed specifically at Coil Winding Machines, Coils, Carbon Brushes, Winding Wires, Tapes and Electrical Insulation, Software Testing, Magnetic Core, Commutators, Testing Equipment, Power Transformers, Distribution Transformers, Auto Transformers, Furnace Transformers and allied products etc. The show focused towards a quality audience which includes people from Electrical Industry, Consumer electronics manufacturers, Industrial and Infrastructure sector, Lighting Industry, Motor Manufacturers, Industrial Automation, Trade Associations, State Power Distribution Companies, Government Officials from Power Industry and many more.

You had a concurrent seminar with ITMA , Can you throw some light on the event ?
The 13th edition of TRAFOSEM-2015 conference was organized jointly by ITMA & CPRI and in association with BRANDSCOPE EXHIBITIONS was held alongside with the show Shri Piyush Goyal- Hon’ble Minister of State with Independent Charge inaugurated the conference for Power, Coal and New & Renewable Energy, Govt. of India. The theme of the conference “Modernization of Global Transformer Technology For Use in Indian Power Scenario”, provided an appropriate platform for the Transformer Manufacturers to interact directly with the government officials and to solve their long awaited issues. The synergy between the Exhibition and the Conference ensure perfect platform for all connected with the subject of power
