it’s almost 13 years of our service of print media and I am appreciative to all perusers and endorsers for being with us in all these years. The February edition of TFT has more news to offer than the Q and A or post event coverage.
The 60th India International Garment Fair (IIGF) held from 17-19 January 2018 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi has been covered in this issue. Organised by Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC), 60th IIGF concluded as one
of the biggest and most famous exhibitions in Asia where abroad piece of clothing purchasers can source and manufacture the business associations with India’s the finest in Apparel and Fashion Accessories space India International Garment Fair (IIGF) has progressed significantly and it is presently one of the best shows in the world.
Another big event, which TFT covers in depth in this edition is OTM 2018, the biggest travel show in Asia-Pacific region,held from January 18-20 at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai , the show saw more than 1,000
exhibitors from more than 50 nations and 27 states of the country. The fifth edition of India International Travel
and Tourism (IITT) Exhibition held from January 11 to 13 in Mumbai went ahead to record more than 30% expansion in the visitor footfall when contrasted with its past edition in 2017. The second edition of the leading trade event for fire safety & security – Fire & Security India Expo (FSIE) will be held for the very first time in the garden city of Bengaluru from 22-24 February at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). The fair will witness over 150 leading brands displaying their technological advancements and products and solutions catering to the wide demand of the industry. Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA) and International Association of Exhibitions
and Events (IAEE) are jointly arranging an 8-day endorsement course on exhibition management. IAEE has welcomed applications for the fourth CEM India (Certified in Exhibition Management) Program to be held at BIEC,
Bengaluru. The course will be directed in two sessions, viz, 14-17 March, 2018 and 10-13 July, 2018. For the first time,Tamil Nadu will have DefExpo 2018, a global event on Defense, in April, exhibiting the technologies and products made by both Indian and foreign companies.
