As per the recent market research report by Mordor Intelligence, inaugurated at Indian Ceramics Asia, India’s only B2B exhibition for Ceramic Raw Materials, Ceramic Machinery & Ceramic Technologies from 27 February to 1 March 2019 in Gandhinagar, the Indian ceramic industry holds potential to become the largest producer in the world as it’s looking to almost double the turnover by 2021 due to the construction sector growing at a tremendous rate (approximately 7-8%).

300+ exhibitors from 21 countries with 8400+ visitors

The exhibition attracted 300+ exhibitors from across the globe including, Bangladesh, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, USA and many more. It also featured international delegations from Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh including Middle East and African countries. The decision makers were able to align their requirements with the expected technological implementation and plan their long term business objectives. Few of the key visiting companies included Somany Sanitaryware Pvt. Ltd., Roca Bathroom Products Pvt. Ltd, Cera Sanitary Wares Ltd., RAK Ceramics and Bell Granito Ceramica Ltd.

Knowledge rich supporting programs

The accompanying programs like; Ceramic Job Fair, Brick and Technical Ceramic Workshops, Innovative exchange and Buyer- Seller Forum created a rich environment of deliberation and discussion amongst the industry stakeholders. All the programs were well attended and important interactions became a good knowledge source for the audience in action. Key exhibiting companies like Sibelco India Minerals Pvt Ltd., Spectek Instruments LLP, Hindalco Industries Ltd. and System Ceramics India Pvt. Ltd presented on various industry topics ranging from raw material solutions, elemental analysis of ceramics to a highlight on sustainable material for ceramics.

The upcoming edition of Indian Ceramics Asia will take place from 3 March – 5 March, 2020 in Gandhinagar at The Exhibition Centre.
