ITE Group’s performance in line with management expectations.

However, In Turkey, international bookings are still challenged, and in India, the company had to cancel a number of smaller events.

ITE Group Plc has said that it’s performance for the six-month period to ending March 31 has been in line with management expectations.

The revenue for the period is reported to be around 69 million pounds, which is higher than the last year’s 63.6 million pounds.  Just  2% ahead of the comparative period.

The company says the economic situation in Moscow is showing signs of improvement and has helped to offset the continued weaker performance from Central Asia and the continuing challenging environments, particularly in Turkey and India.

In Turkey, international bookings are still challenged, and in India, the company had to cancel a number of smaller events.

Moving forward, the trading conditions in a number of regions in which the Group operates continue to be challenging. Group revenues booked for FY 2017 are 128 million pounds, at current exchange rates, representing circa 92% of market expectations for the full year.

ITE is to announce its six months results on May 16.
