Messe München International is strengthening its portfolio of events in the future market of India by taking over India Lab Expo, one of the leading trade fairs for laboratory technology, analysis and biotechnology on the Indian subcontinent. For the first time ever, this year’s India Lab Expo is being held under the supervision of Messe München International. It takes place at the Hitex Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad from November 6–8, 2014. In 2015, India Lab Expo will be co-located with analytica Anacon India.

India Lab Expo has alternated between New Delhi and Hyderabad since 2010. The last time that it was held, 252 exhibitors from 15 countries presented their latest products to 8,600 visitors from 19 countries in three halls. The majority of the exhibitors were from India. Besides representatives of the pharma industry, visitors included decision-makers and users from the chemicals, medicine and food industries. Its participants include large numbers of Indian manufacturers in the laboratory-technology sector, so it will complement analytica Anacon India perfectly. The Indian spin-off of the international trade fair analytica has a very large share of international exhibitors who above all present products for the analysis sector.

According to Mr.Bhupinder Singh, Deputy CEO of MMI India, the combination offers clear strategic advantages “India Lab Expo is one of the leading and well-managed trade-fair in laboratory equipment segment. We expect this coming together of two trade-fairs will provide more value to visitors and exhibitors. This will also help strengthen the eco-system of both, as the analytical and laboratory instrument industry will be under one roof. Besides this, it also achieves our strategic goal to increase quality trade-fairs in India“.

Messe München International has staged the brand show analytica in Munich since 1964 and since then established a worldwide network in the industrial and scientific community in laboratory technology, analysis and biotechnology. Indian Analytical Instruments Associaion (IAIA) welcomes India Lab Expo’s association with analytica Anacon India.
