3rd International Police Expo and Conference Commences

[dropcap]New Delhi:[/dropcap] Foundation for Police Research in association with Nexgen Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd organized their “3rd International Police Expo in New Delhi. The theme of the expo and conference was Internal Security a major challenge, despite border conflicts.

[dropcap]E[/dropcap]xhibits from international companies for Helicopters, Public Security, Safety, Training, Surveillance, Cyber Security, Internal Security, Speed Gun, Traffic Solutions, Forensics Technologies, Non Lethal Arms, Small arms and Communication technologies participated at the expo.

[dropcap]Police Expo[/dropcap] is an opportunity to witness and identify the technology and products for the civil and armed forces and various companies from India, USA, UK, etc showcased their modern technology and products.

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]mong the eminent personalities, Dr Tapan Chakroborty (convener of conference and executive director foundation for police research) gave the opening remarks about the conference.

Also there were nine categories for the awards, covering almost all the elements involved in security and safety of the nation.

Awards for Community Policing Initiative was achieved by Kerala police.

Mr Rahul Srivastava, DSP-UP Police, won an award for Use of modern technology for facilitating public service.

Traffic management award was given to Chandigarh DSP Traffic Mr Yash Pal. Besides this there were many other awards distributed to Police departments and armed forces for their exemplary initiatives.

The conference and Expo gathered a large number of audience.
