India's Pioneer Media on TradeFairs

7th edition of IEIA Open Seminar is Mumbai

[su_dropcap]7[/su_dropcap]th edition of IEIA Open Seminar is Mumbai bound, and will be hosted by BCEC, Mumbai. The 2-day occasion will between 5th and 6th May 2017 is slated to host who will who of TradeFair sector from over the world. Mumbai has been awaiting the event since 2012. The current year’s event will highlight Business Match Making Session, Exhibition Industry Expo, Young Professionals Meet-up facilitated by IAEE, CEM Graduation Ceremony alongside 2 days’ Conference with selective Panel dialogs and introductions from prominent speakers from India and abroad. “Pragati Maidan Heritage or Not” rests in peace as the HCC in it’s most recent backpedals to it’s own classification of the venue, perhaps due to the mounting weight and maybe the mediation of the PMO which has been keenly witnessing the advancements. While the government wants to to revamp Pragati Maidan,  architects and planners have questioned the wisdom of this choice. A convention center is already being built near the Indira Gandhi International Airport close to the hotels in Gurgaon and Delhi, and another is planned in Dwarka. Yet another is slated for up-gradation in Greater Noida.
[dropcap]P[/dropcap]lanners say that even if the authorities were to overlook the international model of building convention centres near airports and hotels, the secured edge of Safdarjung Airport provides a more viable option than Pragati Maidan – above all, it would not further clog Delhi. Architect, author Arun Reval writes an eye opener story on the subject. The story finds the cover in this release. OTM organised by Fairfest Media recently bounced back in Mumbai to witness record numbers of exhibitors and visitors and now set to be the biggest show on the Outbound Travel In India. While exhibition industry is yet to recoup from the demonetization impacts, the financial year is coming to an end with the hope that the improvements in the GST bound year will help shape us better.  At Aero India 2017 the number of exhibitors in the exhibition area, foreign delegates, and aircraft that flew during the show were less compared to 2015, however, this edition did fairly well in terms of gross area covered and been able to provide a global platform for Indian companies to collaborate with foreign companies. TFT invites all Industry associates to meet us at IEIA Open Seminar in Mumbai.

Cheers for now.
