CeMAT RUSSIA 2019 provides comprehensive overview of intralogistics

CeMAT RUSSIA ran from 24 to 26 September 2019 at the IEC Crocus Expo in Moscow. The tradeshow for materials handling, warehousing equipment and logistics featured more than 150 exhibiting companies and attracted 5,700 visitors, solidifying its position as the only intralogistics event in Russia with such a diverse portfolio.

On occasion of its tenth anniversary in 2019, CeMAT RUSSIA expanded its exhibit program to include even more products, equipment and solutions for warehousing, intralogistics and supply chain management. More than 200 international brands presented their innovations,
including major manufacturers and suppliers such as A-Sis, Bito, Comitas, Constructor, DoorHan, Elettric80, FZM, Honeywell, Kaup, Komatsu, Linde, Manitou, Micron Pilot Factory, PSI Logistics, TVH Group, and Vanderlande.

“For us and for many of our customers, participation in CeMAT RUSSIA continues to be an indicator of a company’s seriousness and reliability,” said Alsu Vasilyeva, head of the handling-equipment sales department at ISTK, the official distributor of Komatsu. “If a company participates in the trade fair, it means that it has come to the Russian market with serious, long-term intentions.”

CeMAT RUSSIA covered two halls and the outdoor area at IEC Crocus Expo, hosting 153 companies from 18 countries. One third of all exhibitors participated for the first time. New exhibitors included Arnikon, CMAK Crane Systems, Eonmetall, Honco, ILS Conveyor Systems, JCB Equipment, and TVEL Fuel Company.

“CeMAT RUSSIA 2019 differs from previous editions in terms of its comprehensive approach,” said Vladimir Serebryakov, director of Russian market development at FM Logistic. “Clearly, it focuses not only on the engineering component of logistics – the equipment, but also on the
organizational part – comprehensive innovative logistics solutions.” The expanded program triggered significant growth in attendance by professionals working at companies with more than 500 employees. Such companies are primarily interested in comprehensive logistics solutions and services that reduce logistics costs and optimize efficiency.

CeMAT RUSSIA’s supporting program featured four conferences that covered topics ranging from e-commerce, distribution logistics and fulfillment to automation, packaging and security.

The next CeMAT RUSSIA runs from 22 to 24 September 2020 at the IEC Crocus Expo. For the first time, TRANSPACK – which covers transport packaging, packaging machinery and automation – will run parallel to CeMAT RUSSIA.
