CoVid-19: Deutsche Messe postpones micromobility expo and LightCon

micromobility expo and LightCon – both of which are Deutsche Messe’s own events – will be postponed to new dates.

Due to current developments relating to the coronavirus (Covid-19), Deutsche Messe is postponing its own events micromobility expo and LightCon planned for May and June 2020.

The micromobility expo will move into summer (27 to 29 August 2020) as a trade fair for micromobility, mobility infrastructures and services, while the Lightcon congress trade fair will open its doors one year later than planned. The new platform for lightweight construction solutions postpones its premiere to 23 to 24 June 2021 in Hannover.

The new date of micromobility expo in August will enable exhibitors to present their products, innovations and services for micromobility and mobility infrastructures at the earliest possible time and to stimulate new business.

LightCon generally keeps the June date and therefore postpones its premiere by a full year. The numerous partners of the new lightweight construction event support the decision and the patronage of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology will also be maintained.
