Former Teammates react to the demise of Shri Prem Behl

Deeply saddened to hear about the loss of our Ex Boss Mr. Prem Behl. We all had the privilege of working with him for years; he was a true visionary and a forerunner in the exhibition industry. May he be at a better place and spread cheer like he always did.

His loss will be felt by many.

– Rajesh Kapur.

Ex-executive director of Exhibitions India

I worked with Mr. Prem Behl for more than 19 years (January 1994 – March 2013), he was the mentor to me, and like me there are so many, who all are now well settled in their fields. He was a wise, knowledgeable and great personality. He was the pioneer in the ICT industry and worked with many other sectors like, renewable energy; environment and water; smart card; banking; sports, health and wellness; etc. etc. and also represented many overseas organisers in India. His demise is a big loss to the industry and he will always be remembered.

Besides being a successful MICE entrepreneur, I consider Mr. Behl was a visionary who could foresee the new opportunities much before any other. Mr. Behl was also a person with extraordinary networking skills. He believed in empowering his Exhibition Managers by inculcating the habit of reading. He would always tell us that we are solution providers and not exhibition space marketers. For him safety and hygiene during the exhibition was paramount. I consider myself fortunate to have got an opportunity to work under him.

I am very sorry to hear this heartbreaking news. I will always cherish his fond memories. We use to Call him PB, he was one of the few Indian minds who promoted ICT technology, A doyen who created a legacy marketing platforms far ahead of the times.
