Glasstec 2018 is back as the leading international trade fair in the glass industry. In its 25 th year, Düsseldorf will once again be the international meeting point of the glass industry from 23 to 26 October 2018.
The 25 th edition of the show will again present a comprehensive bandwidth of innovative products, trends and solutions, combined with an in-depth professional support programme, featuring practical and scientific insights. “Setting standards for the future of the glass industry – the 25 th edition will provide Exhibitors from all over the world to present their innovative products to trade visitors, and a widely diversified support programme will provide unique insights into
all the segments of the industry. This allows visitors of glasstec to stay ahead of the competition. Glasstec therefore is and remains the world’s leading trade fair on the subject of glass,” says Joachim Schäfer, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf. Around 1250 exhibitors from more than 50 countries are expected to be in Düsseldorf this year. 2016 attracted over 40,100 visitors from 121 countries learning a great deal in the areas of glass manufacturing, processing and finishing, the glazing trade, architecture and construction, windows and facades as well as the
wide-ranging conference programs. The highlight of the event will be the glasstec conference, where all conferences will take place under a single roof (hall) and will feature high-calibre talks and provide in-depth background knowledge on the exhibits of the special show “glass technology live”, thus creating an even closer link between theory and practice. Glass technology live will cover subjects across industries, showing forward-looking exhibits from technology, production and glass application along with showcasing solutions in new technologies, energy and performance, structural glass, interactive facades and display glass. The key elements of the show this year will be special interactive shows, live demonstrations, competitions, conferences and symposiums viz. Handwerk Live, Glass Art and Glasstec Challenge, start-up zone for young, international companies and additional support for German Start-Ups by BMWi. Glasstec 2018 is a must for professionals in the glass industry-sector, architecture
and construction, trade sector, mechanical engineering and solar power.
