The 5th Annual General Meeting of Indian Exhibitions, Conferences & Events Services Association (IESA) held on September 14, 2019 at Queens Hall, Essex Farms, Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi.
The AGM started with the interaction session of members and self-introducation. Thereafter, AGM started with the address of Mr. H. K. Bhattad, President, IESA. In his speech, he highlighted the IESA’s activities during his tenure and welcomed members of Executive Committee and special guests. He also mentioned that the strength of IESA Members had increased during his tenure and brought a positive trend in the growth of the association.
Agenda of the AGM was implemented by Mr. Surinder Vasisht, General Secretary, IESA, he also urged the members to introduce new members to the association. He shared the current action plan and activities of the association. Mr. Vasisht announced the names of IESA newly elected President, Vice President and Executive Members and welcoming them on board.
Mr. Sunil More, President elected presented a bouquet and expressed his gratitude to Mr. H. K. Bhattad towards excellent work done during his presidency for the Association. He addressed the house and thanked all for electing him as the new President of IESA. In his speech, he stated about the regular interaction meeting with the EC members and regional chapter of IESA. Mr. More also mentioned to focus on the Internal and external issues faced by members and try to resolve them with the support of the other executive committee members’ suggestions & advice. At the end he once again thanked the previous EC members and asked support from members to expand the association at next level.
At the AGM, IESA launched “Member Identity Cards (ID)” and distributed to all who were present at the meeting. Mr. Ashish Jha, Consultant, MSME explained the important schemes of MSME and a presentation to motivate members was given by Mr. John Prabhu, Secretary, IESA Chennai Chapter.
A Birthday celebration of all members whose birthdays fall in the month of September & October was rejoiced with the cake cutting. Members enjoyed this small celebration a lot. Afterwards, all members were invited for cocktail & dinner.
The 5th AGM of IESA was attended by 100 plus members & guests. It was a pleasant get-together on the occasion of AGM. We will meet again. In the meantime….lets plan another great IESA Event.
