“NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF EVENT SERVICE PROVIDERS FINALLY GETS GOVERNMENT NOD.”

Indian Exhibitions Conferences and Events Services Association (IESA); spearheaded by leading Indian Exhibition and Events services providers have finally got their association registered, the IESA will act as national apex body representing Exhibition, Event and Conference services under the national umbrella.

Applied for registration in July 2013, the IESA finally got registration certificate on 13th November 2014 by registrar of societies government of NCT, New Delhi. The Charter Members of the association includes Amanullah Khan Sons (Bangalore), Deco Space (Chennai), EXHICON ( Mumbai) Labh Decorators (Ahmedabad), Meroform (NOIDA), N K Kapoor ( Kolkata), Namdhari Events (Hyderabad) RMB Event Management (Mumbai), and Vashist Agencies (New Delhi) while the founder members of IESA include City Neon, Dara Projects, Deepali Designs and Exhibits, Design Core, Expro Events, Paras Art Studio, Pavilions and Interiors, Rootz Global & Sardana’s Art Centre. Commenting on the formation, Surinder Vasisht – Convener of IESA said “We all had been working for nearly one and a half year to bring this association into existence, it is better late than never.

Vasisht further added “ I would like to thank fraternity members for the efforts put in by him to get clearances from different ministries and get the association registered, our target is to enroll maximum members from different cities and services to make it a successful association having a pan India presence.

On the expectation from IESA Vasisht Said “We expect the association to meet discuss and plan the future of the Indian Exhibition and Event industry. Abbas Khan of Amanullah Khan Sons said, “It is very good that an Association of our trade members is finally come to existence, even though it should have happened long back but still better late than never.”

H. K. Bhattad of RMB Event said, “With formation of IESA, our industry will get organized and will also make our long awaited efforts of trying to get the industry status collectively possible.” IESA immediately plans to hold exhibitions of service providers, business and training seminars skill development programs and refresher courses for employees of its members, in addition to represent the problems of the industry to concerned Governments. IESA has announced a national meeting to elect its office bearers and to plan ‘Road Ahead’ in New Delhi on 20th December 2014.
