NESCO Exhibitions Announces India Auto Show at Curtain Raiser

The first industry gathering post lock-down at NESCO

The Curtain Raiser of the upcoming India Auto Show – Exhibition & Conference on Automotive Industry, to be organised by Nesco Exhibitions, was successfully held at the Bombay Exhibition Center, Nesco, Mumbai.

 

The first gathering post lock-down at NESCO which was witnessed by 100+ Senior Automotive Industry dignitaries. Nesco Exhibitions along with Bus & Car Operators Confederation of India (BOCI), Mumbai Bus Malak Sanghatna (MBMS) and Federation of Tourist Taxi Operators (FOTTO) has taken this initiative to bring together the Automotive OEM’s and Bus & Car Fleet Owners to deliberate further on the future of the Industry.

Mr. Tejinder Singh Nagi, General Manager Exhibitions, Nesco Ltd said “Nesco, being hosts as well as organisers has taken a great and brave step to start the organising of exhibitions in Mumbai. We as a venue promise to have a clear and hygienic exhibition with all the safety precautions as per the guidelines of the Government”.

Also present amongst the dignitaries were Mr. Avinash Subhedar, IAS – Jt. CEO, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC). MIDC is an integral part of the event along with Aurangabad Industrial City (AURIC) which is one of the pillars and pioneer projects for DMIC, India’s most ambitious and one of the world’s largest infrastructure program.

It is expected that 8,000+ Dealers, Distributors and Importers of Spare Parts, Vehicle Accessories, Lubricants, 3,000+ Garage Owners, Multi Brand Service Station & Workshop Owner and 1000+ Plant Head’s, Vendor Development Head’s, Purchase Managers of Automotive OEM’s will meet, conduct business and explore possibilities of a deeper collaboration with 150+ Leading Exhibitors at the 2nd India Auto Show.
The Exhibition spread over 10,000 sqm will showcase leading Passenger & Commercial Vehicles, Electric Vehicles, Component and Accessories, IT & Mobility Solutions etc.

Giving a clarion call together to participate at the 2nd India Auto Show, Mr. Deepak Naik, President, Mumbai Bus Malak Sanghatna (MBMS) and Mr. Zubin Khapoliwala, President, Federation of Tourist Taxi Operators (FOTTO) acknowledged and thanked the brave hearts attending the brief program today. Addressing the audience on the occasion, Mr. Harsh Kotak, Treasurer, BOCI, stated, “It would be an apt time to organize the India Auto Show from 12thto 14thFebruary 2021 as the Bus & Car Fleet Owners across all segments viz; Intercity Travel, School Bus, Employee Transport, Tour Operators and Tourist Cabs are all gearing up for the season beginning from April 2021”.
