Since their inception in 1993, the PaintIndia series of exhibitions have been the premier exposition for the coatings industry in the Indian sub-continent.
PaintIndia has built a place for itself as the pioneer and the only journal in the coating industry not only in India, but in the entire Far East.
It has all along championed the cause of the coating industry to the extent that the Indian Industry looks upto the journal for objective presentation of news, independent expression of views and dissemination of information in continuing research in coatings and raw materials, and its allied fields.

The next edition of PAINTINDIA will take place from 10th to 12th March 2022 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai, India.

A Spokesperson from PaintIndia said “We take this opportunity to extend our best wishes to you for the festive season. We hope your family and colleagues are coping well with the challenging times thrust upon us by the pandemic, even as we see firm signs of economic revival and initial signs of normalcy returning.”

He further added that the COVID-19 pandemic was the sole reason that caused the postponement of the originally designated PAINTINDIA 2020 from March 2020 to 11-13 March 2021. At the time, the postponement by a full year was in order to ensure that the economic and health scenario can be conducive to the holding of a global event of the magnitude and relevance as is with PAINTINDIA.

“However, the ongoing health situation and the possibility of a second wave of cases (already seen in Europe and USA) still does not give us a free run to confidently conduct the event in the given time-frame. Furthermore, the venue, Bombay Exhibition Centre, is still a designated COVID centre at the time of this communication, with no clarity on when it would open up for business. The opening up of International travel is also something on which we do not have firm timelines.” he said.

In the background of this uncertainty, the organisers of PAINTINDIA, have decided to return back to the original regular even-year biennial cycle, and the next edition would now be held in Mumbai at the same venue from 10-12 March 2022.
