First of its Kind Museum Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya Inaugurated In New Delhi

The Museum on Prime Ministers’ of India is the first ever museum built in the history of independent India to celebrate the efforts of all the 14 Prime Ministers of India who have collectively built this great nation over the last 75 years. It is one of its kind to inspire the nation and the world with its grand opening due on the 14th April 2022. Located at the Teen Murti Estate, in the Historic Building and the New Building, in Delhi, visitors are guided into an inspirational and stimulating experience through 28 galleries, an exhibition space of approximately 5,500 square metres, stretched over 5 floors (2 in the Historic Building and 3 in the New Building) where they will learn about the life and achievements, works, thoughts and expressions of all the 14 Prime Ministers of India, their contributions to the nation and to the World! In addition, one of the mentioned galleries includes several rooms only dedicated to the Constitution of India.

The PRIME MINISTERS’ MUSEUM is a project that applies an innovative design and exhibition strategy, and the MUSE team is very passionate in doing what they do best – Transforming great ideas into memorable experiences. The Museum on Prime Ministers’ of India was envisioned to be a technological marvel by infusing/ blending content with state-of-the-art technologies. NMML has done a mammoth task to collect tens of thousands of photographs, videos and audios of the Prime Ministers as well as developed biographical narratives of each individual. MUSE drew its key multidisciplinary resources mainly from India, UK, Spain, Portugal and Dubai. To achieve the grandeur of the vision, from the minutest details to a larger than life experience, they have put together a phenomenal team of more than 150 highly experienced professionals with extensive know-how in each phase of the project, to deliver it to the exact specifications and standards. This task force includes, the finest talents of scenographers, architects, designers, engineers, project managers, software developers and engineers, AV/IT technicians, MEP technicians, skilled/ specialist personnel, artists, etc. from India.

The galleries also include technologies and experiences like “Levitating Emblem”, interactive tables and walls, Interactive flipbooks, Kinetic Theatre, 270′ and 360′ theatre for a journey through time, Virtual Reality theatre showcasing snippets from the “Futuristic India”, Holographic speeches, Augmented Reality for “A walk with your Favourite Prime Minister on the Parliament Road”, interactive quizzes, etc. In short no efforts were spared to achieve an unforgettable engaging and interactive visitor experience.
