TFT : How do you think the 8th edition of India International Pet Trade Fair (IIPTF) 2015 will benefit the exhibitors, sponsors and the industry?
Linda Brady Hawke : IIPTF seeks to create awareness about the prospects of Indian pet industry amongst Indian and global visitors and delegates. Indian exporters gain access to foreign companies at the event. Indian importers and distributors will get a chance to meet foreign exporters keen to enter the Indian pet market. Exhibitors and sponsors can also meet domestic buyers from all across India. IIPTF offers a great opportunity to buyers and sellers at the event. IIPTF helps in widening the customer/pet owners base through various educative and awareness programmes through out the event.

TFT : What is the number of visitors you expect at 8th edition of India International Pet Trade Fair (IIPTF) 2015?
Linda Brady Hawke : We expect 50 thousand plus visitors during all three days of the 8th edition of India International Pet Trade Fair (IIPTF) 2015.

TFT : Are there other countries participating at 8th edition of India International Pet Trade Fair (IIPTF) 2015 apart from India and if so can you please name them?
Linda Brady Hawke : Yes, many countries are likely to participate at the 8th edition of India International Pet Trade Fair (IIPTF) 2015. We have confirmed participation from China, US, Taiwan, Japan, Slovakia, UK, Honolulu, and Germany.

TFT : Is it an annual event or biannual event? Please explain about the frequency and the Cities.
Linda Brady Hawke : Since its inception, IIPTF has been an annual event. The seventh edition of IIPTF took place in Pune. Previously, we organised the events either in Delhi or in Noida. Currently, we are planning to hold IIPTF all across India.

TFT : Is this exhibition targeted only for Indian market?
Linda Brady Hawke : We will target the customer base both for Indian and global market.

TFT : Thank you for giving your precious time to speak with TFT. Can you elaborate a little on the 8th edition of India International Pet Trade Fair (IIPTF) 2015?
Linda Brady Hawke : IIPTF 2015 will be a one-stop destination for all the latest offerings from the industry. The event, part B2B (business-to-business) and part B2C (business-to-consumer), seeks to showcase an exhaustive range of pet products and pet-pertinent services from across India and overseas.

TFT : Congratulations on organising the 8th edition of India International Pet Trade Fair (IIPTF) 2015. What do you expect from this event to achieve?
Linda Brady Hawke : We seek to advocate pet care through responsible pet ownership, in order to facilitate harmonious co-existence of environment, humans, and animals. Apart from that, we are keen to tap the growing pet market efficiently & effectively.

TFT : How can India International Pet Trade Fair (IIPTF) 2015 create a positive outcome for the stakeholders of 8th edition of IIPTF 2015?
Linda Brady Hawke : We want to cater to the growing numbers of pet lovers/parents, several vet practitioners, pet groomers, pet bakery owners, pet accessories and pet food outlets all across India. We are holding IIPTF 2015 in Bangalore so that stakeholders can get a chance to tap numerous opportunities offered by the event.

TFT : What was the unique learning and exhibitors/visitors feedback from the previous edition? How would you implement them for this year event?
Linda Brady Hawke : We received great feedback in the 7th edition which was evident by the number of visitors who attended the event. About 8000/day participated in the event, which added up to nearly 24 thousand visitors over the 3-day event. Not only that, we witnessed impressive participation from 85 companies from all across the globe. The event was a huge success.

TFT : Any special message for our readers?
Linda Brady Hawke : IIPTF provides a platform for pet owners and pet lovers to gain awareness on responsible pet keeping, and experience the growth of the pet industry.
