TFT Breaking: New Covid Vaccination Centre at NESCO looms uncertainty for starting Exhibitions

NESCO Exhibition Centre has a new Covid setup ready – this time for the Covid Vaccination Centre.

The hall number 5 of NESCO Exhibition and Convention Center in Goregaon, Mumbai, has been converted into Covid Vaccination Center, further raising concerns over the beginning of Exhibitions at the Venue. The other halls are now available for organizing Exhibitions at NESCO.

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) authorities affirmed the news with TFT. Where new arrangements – prepared to begin the Vaccination Center from the mid of January 2021 are up today.

While the final decision on closure of India’s Biggest Covid Care ICU’ at NESCO is yet to be taken by the BMC. The new development has further increased the uncertainty for the Exhibition Organizers.

The Vaccination Center at Hall number 5 is to begin the dry run from Monday, 11th January. The full fledged Vaccination Center will begin from mid of January.

The news comes while the Exhibition Industry is anticipating the lone Exhibition Center of Mumbai to be accessible for the B2B Exhibitions from February 2021 onwards.
