The “Logistics IT” pavilion at HANNOVER MESSE

With a new “Logistics IT” pavilion, Deutsche Messe is helping small and medium-sized software providers to present their solutions at HANNOVER MESSE. The pavilion is located in the Digital Ecosystems display in Hall 17, right at the heart of the world’s biggest trade show for industrial technology.

From 20 to 24 April 2020, more than 6,000 exhibitors will present their products and solutions for the factory of the future at HANNOVER MESSE, with “Industrial Transformation” being the keynote theme. For the first time, the logistics industry will have its very own showcase in halls 2–4 and in parts of the adjoining halls, including halls 14–17, which will host a “Who’s Who” of the global IT sector, with comprehensive product displays by such major players as SAP, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, PSI and Software AG.

Many logistics companies are already well on the road to digitalization, for state-of-art, seamlessly implemented IT infrastructure is crucial to managing logistics processes effectively and fully leveraging the potential of Industry 4.0 and Logistics 4.0. “That’s where the new Logistics IT group pavilion comes in. It will give around 20 companies the opportunity to put their IT expertise and latest software solutions in front of HANNOVER MESSE’s international audience of industrial users,” explained Arno Reich, Deutsche Messe’s Senior Vice President Industry, Energy & Logistics.

The show will also feature plenty of dialogue around hot topics currently shaping the logistics industry, such as the platform economy, artificial intelligence, disruptive business models, drones, automated guided vehicles and innovative trade logistics.
