EEPC INDIA & HANNOVER MILANO FAIRS JOIN HANDS FOR ESS – INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY 2014.

IA global partnership for boosting engineering sourcing from India through IESS.

Engineering Export Promotion Council India (EEPC INDIA) has signed a COOPERATION AGREEMENT with Hannover Milano Fairs India Pvt. Ltd. (HMFI), the Indian subsidiary of the largest and oldest engineering trade fair organizer, Deutsche Messe AG, Germany. The agreement was signed to organize largest engineering sourcing show of the country “India Engineering Sourcing Show – Industrial Supply INDIA”.

Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India and EEPC INDIA have been partners for over 20 years promoting Indian engineering exports and representing India in the international platforms by Deutsche Messe worldwide, taking the India industry to the World. Industrial Supply is the platform where Indian companies’ exhibit at Hannover Messe under the co-operation agreement between IESS and Industrial Supply. They aim at bringing this partnership in India as well. The partnership is set to explore new avenues of growth for the Indian Engineering Expertise to the world, through various joint activities. With over 300 companies under one roof, this partnership is expected to generate business opportunity of more than 3000 CR, will work as a catalyst in propagating exports in the engineering sector and aims at leveraging Export Growth of India as well as exploring opportunities of Engineering Expertise to the world thereby representing India in the international platform. The Cooperation Agreement was signed by Bhaskar Sarkar, Executive Director & Secretary, EEPC India & Wolfgang Pech, Global Vice-President, Deutsche Messe AG in the presence of Ravi Capoor, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India.

At the press gathering Ravi Capoor, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India, said “the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi is keen on supporting the industry efforts to reach out to more and more parts of the world and this agreement has come at a right time. IESS will also provide an opportune platform to the Indian MSME sector to reach out to the global buyers.”

Anupam Shah, Chairman EEPC INDIA, said, “With this agreement, we will be roping in the vast experience and technical knowhow of HMFI in the organizing the Industrial Supply segment of IESS 2014. I do believe that the joint development of industrial supply subcontracting segment will have a multiplier effect in further strengthening the IESS property and will allow our members to witness the latest technologies and needs of global buyers.”

Wolfgang Pech, Global Vice-President, Deutsche Messe AG, said, “This cooperation will explore new business opportunities for Indian manufacturing sector from International Buyer Delegations visiting the show. HMFI will bring more than 120 International technology manufacturers to participate at the show.”
