Inauguration of Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show Sets Stage for Global Summit

Prime Minister Modi Launches Key Initiatives and Engages with Diverse Industries at the Premier Exhibition Event

 

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show’ in Gandhinagar, a day ahead of the commencement of the global summit. The event was attended by President of Timor Leste, José Ramos-Horta, President of the Republic of Mozambique, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, and Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

Constituting a segment of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, the exhibition includes participation from 20 countries, namely Australia, Morocco, South Korea, Thailand, Bangladesh, Singapore, UAE, UK, Germany, and Russia.

During the inauguration, Modi introduced an e-coffee table book titled ‘The Summit of Success Towards Realization of Fullest Potential of Gujarat.’ Additionally, he unveiled a ‘Commemorative Coin’ commemorating the first Vibrant Gujarat-2024 Amritkal Summit and a ‘Commemorative Stamp’ marking the completion of 20 years of the summit. The Prime Minister also launched a research report on the 20-year impact of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, presented by the industrial association.

Dignitaries, including the Prime Minister, explored various pavilions at the Global Trade Show, engaging with exhibitors across diverse sectors such as agro and food processing, automobiles and auto components, ceramics, chemicals and petrochemicals, gems and jewelry, pharmaceuticals, ports and marine.

Highlighted industries at the trade show include textiles and garments, electric vehicles, green hydrogen, aircraft and allied industries, renewable energy, semiconductors and ESDM, fintech, cyber security, AI, and machine learning.

The Global Trade Show is situated at Helipad Ground Gandhinagar and is accessible to business visitors on January 10-11, with public access scheduled for January 12-13.
