New Dates Announced by LED Expo: to be held in May 2021

LED Expo Mumbai attracts fair-attendees from different parts of India as well as from abroad and considering the present status, exhibition organisers Messe Frankfurt India Pvt Ltd are still looking for a green signal from the government to restart exhibitions in the country and other vital segments like international travel. The decision that was taken after close consultation with industry experts was well supported by exhibitors and stakeholders. This will also enable the lighting sector to regain its strength and provide adequate time for companies to study future demands, develop new products, strengthen supply chains and restore business for the overall lighting market in India.

“Our show, LED Expo Mumbai is an important event in the business calendars of our stakeholders, and every year, the lighting industry eagerly waits to meet and network at our platform. I believe that by May 2021 we will have a far more stable health situation along with a healthy business environment. I am looking forward to a variety of product launches and technological advancements as this period will provide the industry with the required time to channel their efforts and plan their participation more effectively,” shared Mr Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd.

As the industry slowly re-opens and gains momentum, LED Expo as a brand is actively contributing in the digital space by organising various knowledge oriented seminars to discuss future guidelines for the lighting segment. The show also organised a one-of-a-kind sourcing webinar in July that connected focussed buyers and sellers on a digital platform resulting in many positive trade enquiries.

Led Expo Mumbai is continually promoting smart and energy efficient lighting gears and will showcase an array of technologies including Human Centric Lighting (HCL), solar lighting, UV technologies and many other advancements supporting IoT. The show is the maiden choice for architects, interior designers, construction and real estate companies, builders and contractors along with many leading government bodies and association to gain industry knowledge, source new technologies and build long-term business relationships.

The exhibition industry not only offers business value to its exhibitors and visitors, but also, supports trade and employment opportunities in allied segments of aviation, hospitality, restaurants and hotels, and public transport making it one of the core sectors to revive the economy. Continuing to keep the industry connected, the launch edition of Light + LED Expo India will be held from 3 – 5 December 2020 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The premier lighting exhibition platform is a strategic collaboration of two biggest shows for the industry that will unfold abundant business opportunities and exchange of knowledge.
